Domino’s taps customer creativity in BFD promo

ANN ARBOR Mich. Domino’s Pizza has launched an online contest to find the person who can make the most creative BFD — or Big Fantastic Deal.

The contest is part of the chain’s first promotion of the year, which offers customers a large pizza with unlimited toppings for $10.99.  Domino’s is encouraging customers to use the BFD Builder at www.dominos.com [2] to create their ideal Big Fantastic Deal pizza.

The winner, to be determined by a panel of Domino’s employees, will receive $500 in Domino’s gift certificates. The second- and third-place finishers each will receive $50 in gift certificates.

Contestants can name their pizzas and register them in the chain’s database of BFD pizzas. Visitors to the website will be able to track the sales of registered pizzas.

The promotion will run through Jan. 27 and is part of Domino’s “You Got 30 Minutes” rebranding campaign, which broke late last year.

Domino’s has 8,510 units worldwide.
