Ted’s Montana Grill names Nancy Furr CFO

Furr promoted from controller position

Ted’s Montana Grill has promoted Nancy Furr from the position of controller to chief financial officer, the company said Monday.

The CFO position had been vacant for the past two years, a company spokeswoman said.

“Nancy has done an incredible job of organizing a group of brilliant people into very engaged departments in payroll, accounting, finance and risk management,” Ted’s Montana Grill co-founder and CEO George McKerrow said in a statement. “She has not only elevated the results in every discipline that she manages, but also the level of hospitality and service to outside constituents, other internal departments and operations.”

Previously, Furr was assistant controller of Reynolds Plantation of Lake Oconee in central Georgia.

The company also named former Gold’s Gym human resources executive Rebecca Copeland vice president of human resources and training.

Ted’s Montana Grill has 46 upscale-casual restaurants, and reported 55 months of same-store sales growth Monday.

Last year, Ted’s Montana Grill opened two new locations, in Hartford, Conn., and Alpharetta, Ga.
