HuHot Mongolian Grill names chief brand officer

Molly Vap O’Shea will serve in the newly created position

HuHot Mongolian Grill has promoted Molly Vap O’Shea to the newly created role of chief brand officer.

O’Shea is the daughter of founders Dan and Linda Vap and the sister of HuHot chief executive Andy Vap.

The Missoula, Mont.-based Asian stir-fry chain said last week that O’Shea began working at HuHot in 2005 as director of franchise development, helping to grow the all-you-can-eat casual-dining concept from 12 to 54 units across the U.S. She also helped open a Denver office for the company.

In her new role as CBO, O’Shea will oversee all aspects of brand management, including marketing, consumer and business insights, menu development and franchise development strategy and sales.

Before joining HuHot, O’Shea worked in brand development for the Clorox Company, with the Hidden Valley Ranch and KC Masterpiece products.

HuHot Mongolian Grills LLC operates and franchises 54 locations in 16 states.
