Sweat replaces Dave Henninger at the casual-dining chain

Hooters of America LLC has named Carl Sweat chief marketing officer, replacing Dave Henninger.

Sweat was most recently chief marketing and commercial officer for children’s beverage maker In Zone Brands, which, like Hooters, is based in Atlanta.

Before that position, he was president and CEO of The FRS Company, which makes beverages and supplements, and got a national distribution agreement with PepsiCo under his tenure. He was also senior vice president of the global beverage category for Starbucks Corp., and before that was at The Coca-Cola Co. for 22 years.

Hooters also said that Terri Hoskins joined the company in September 2014 as its chief human resources officer, and that Pete Servold became vice president of brand operations in August 2014.

“Carl, Terri and Pete are all leaders of their crafts, and their collective experience brings tremendous value to Hooters and our franchise partners,” CEO Terry Marks said in a press release. “We welcome their fresh insights, energy and expertise, which will influence all facets of our business as we continue to drive extraordinary performance and deliver one-of-a-kind Hooters hospitality known around the world.”
