"This Folio award highlights what we do best, going deep into a topic, providing commentary and perspective on all sides," said Laura Viscusi, publisher of Nation's Restaurant News.

“We are honored to win this award — especially for such an important topic. The Immigration Impact series reflects the journalistic integrity and restaurant industry knowledge of NRN’s editorial team,” said Jenna Telesca, NRN’s editor-in-chief.

Folio, which covers the magazine industry, hands out Eddie & Ozzie awards annually to recognize excellence in editorial and design, respectively, across all sectors.

In the Immigration Impact series, NRN shines a light on the role of foreign-born workers in the foodservice industry. The report explores how foreign-born employees — both legal and undocumented — influence the restaurant workforce, the U.S. food supply, the consumer and the economy.
