Operators offer $10.40 deals and free eats
Tax Day, the filing deadline for federal income tax returns, will pass on April 17 this year. With money on everyone’s minds as the day approaches, operators are putting wallet-friendly deals on the menu to mark the financial occasion.
For instance, Sonny’s BBQ, based in Maitland, Fla., with over 110 locations, is bringing back its “IRS,” or Irresistible Rib Special, for the fifth year running. On April 17, guests dining in or taking out can enjoy the chain’s Sweet & Smokey or House Dry-Rubbed rib dinners with two sides and housemade bread at half price.
