Ignite Restaurant Group hires industry veteran Jim Doak

Doak takes on the new role of VP of menu innovation and corporate executive chef

Ignite Restaurant Group Inc., parent to the Joe’s Crab Shack and Brick House Tavern + Tap chains, said Tuesday it had hired industry veteran Jim Doak in the new position of vice president of menu innovation and corporate executive chef.

The Houston-based casual-dining company said Doak’s hiring was effective Sept. 10. The company also announced the promotions of Kristen Temple to vice president of marketing and Deanna Parr to vice president of design services.
