The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has introduced a “Choose Health LA” initiative that provides resources to restaurants and encourages operators to reduce portion sizes and improve nutrition in an effort to reduce obesity in the county.
In a video, Dr. Jonathan Fielding, director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, explains the program, which allows participating restaurants to become a designated “Choose Health LA” restaurant.
