A look at TravelCenters' newest Fuddruckers

Fuddruckers and TravelCenters of America opened a third truck stop-convenience center restaurant Monday in Sparks, Nev.

Westlake, Ohio-based TravelCenters of America LLC and Fuddrucker’s parent company, Houston-based Luby’s Inc., signed a franchise development deal last year, and the companies have since opened two other burger restaurants in truck stop-convenience centers in Commerce, Ga., in February 2016 and Ashland, Va., in May.

The Sparks TA truck stop also includes a casino, the companies said.

In addition to Fuddruckers, TravelCenters’ TA Restaurant Group division includes more than 785 restaurants, both quick and full service, featuring such brands as Quaker Steak & Lube, Iron Skillet and Country Pride. TravelCenters has facilities in 43 states and Canada.

Luby’s operates 173 restaurants, including Luby’s Cafeterias, Fuddruckers, Cheeseburger in Paradise and Bob Luby’s Seafood Grill, as well as franchising 113 and licensing 34 Fuddruckers.
