Ando, the delivery-only concept developed by David Chang, is not delivery-only anymore. It did a soft opening of a 12-seat brick-and-mortar location this week near Union Square in New York City. It’s scheduled to open officially on Monday.
“The delivery-only model is tough,” said CEO Andy Taylor, who joined Ando in April after three years as CEO of Hale & Hearty, a local soup, salad and sandwich chain.
