Foodservice consultant Andrew Young dies

NEW YORK International foodservice consultant and restaurant operator Andrew Young died when a small airplane he was traveling in crashed during a thunderstorm in eastern Maryland. Young, who was 51, was on his way to Pinehurst, N.C., with friends for a golfing vacation.

After founding the New York-based Andrew Young & Co. in 1990, Young expanded his consulting business around the world and developed projects in more than 20 countries. His clients included
