Back Yard Burgers phasing in unit and enterprise tools

News

NASHVILLE Tenn. Back Yard Burgers, based here, has deployed to 30 company and 10 franchised restaurants Radiant Systems’ Aloha point-of-sale-system technology and supporting enterprise applications, according to Radiant.

“Radiant Systems understood our need to deploy a POS system that enables greater operational efficiencies and helps to reduce employee training time,” said Bud Shaw, vice president of administration at Back Yard Burgers, or BYB, which operates or franchises to others a total of 177 restaurants in 20 states. “We recently completed the first phase of the rollout to all corporate locations and have received outstanding support from the Radiant team.”

Sources at Alpharetta, Ga.-based Radiant said BYB, during the next five years, plans to install Radiant P1220 POS terminals, Radiant kitchen video displays and Aloha QuickService POS software. They said the chain also will use the Aloha Configuration Center database management application, the MenuLink.Net back office program and the Aloha Command Center platform.
