BJ’s Restaurants Inc. reported on Thursday a 47-percent decline in net income for the third quarter ended Oct. 1, noting that the sales environment for casual dining remains challenging. The Huntington Beach, Calif.-based operator ended the quarter with 143 restaurants under the BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, BJ’s Pizza & Grill, and BJ’s Grill brand names.
