TULSA Okla. United States Beef Corp., a 240-plus-unit Arby's franchisee based here, selected Trintech Group's ReconNET software to automate reconciliation of cash, credit and gift card transactions and its DataFlow Transaction Network service to aggregate and deliver bank data, the vendor said.
"We needed a scalable solution to streamline accounting processes and allow us to grow our restaurants without increasing staff and costs," USBC vice president of finance Lori Pumphrey said. She noted that the software and services of Dallas-based Trintech will permit her company to "automate manual reconciliation procedures – giving our staff more time to resolve exception issues and focus on growth efforts."
DataFlow will save USBC time by ending the daily chore of retrieving and converting for the operator's financial systems data in various formats from multiple banks, Trintech sources said. ReconNET, they said, automates daily and monthly procedures, including period-end balancing, and improves visibility into transaction processes, reducing exposure to fraud and errors.
