Stone leaves CMO role at Papa Murphy’s

VANCOUVER Wash. After only a year in the job, Ann Stone stepped down from her position as chief marketing officer for Papa Murphy’s International on Monday, company officials said.

No reason was given for her departure from the take-and-bake pizza chain. Lindsi Miller, Papa Murphy’s spokeswoman, said Stone resigned to pursue “other passions.”

Miller said the company is holding off on filling the CMO position.

Stone is a former marketing executive of Pizza Hut, Church’s Chicken and International Dairy Queen. She joined Papa Murphy’s in April 2008.

Based in Vancouver, Wash., Papa Murphy’s operates or franchises more than 1,100 locations in 31 states and Canada.
