WASHINGTON Acknowledging that it’s no foodservice operator, the U.S. Senate has decided for the first time in its history to bring in an outside firm to manage the legislative body’s feeding operations. A report in the Washington Post said the contract had been awarded to Restaurant Associates Managed Services, a division of contract feeder Compass Group North America.
The contract is expected to take effect in the fall.
