AUSTIN Texas Schlotzsky’s has revived last year’s Angus Round Up as a limited-time offer.
The three Angus beef sandwiches, available until June 1, include the Bacon Beefy Smokecheesy, made with roast beef, smoked cheddar cheese, bacon and chipotle mayonnaise on a toasted sourdough bun; the Philly Dilly, with roast beef, mozzarella cheese, portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, sweet red peppers and chipotle mayonnaise on sourdough bread; and the French Dipsky, with roast beef and mozzarella cheese on a toasted sourdough bun with a side of au jus. All three sandwiches are offered in small and medium sizes.
Last year’s Angus Round Up marked the chain’s first promotion of three sandwiches simultaneously, Schlotzky’s said at the time.
Schlotzky’s president Kelly Roddy said in a statement: “We had such a great response to the Angus Round Up last year. Customers loved having new, fresh options other than typical springtime fare like chicken or turkey, so we’re sure they’ll once again love the unique flavor combinations and generous portions featured in this limited-time promotion.”
