Pizza Hut operator lauds hardware platform

News

SAINT JOSEPH Mich. Michigan Pizza Hut, a 46-unit Pizza Hut franchisee based here, said the new EverServ 6000 point-of-sale hardware platform from the ParTech Inc. division of PAR Technology Corp. processes orders faster and is more energy efficient than the operator’s old equipment.

The EverServ 6000 series is PAR’s sixth generation POS hardware platform and features more powerful processors for improved graphics rendering and speed of service, said sources at New Hartford, N.Y.-based ParTech. They said it is easier to service, with most components accessible without tools; is more expandable, with options such as RAID capability for real-time backup, biometric fingerprint sign-in and greater I/O connectivity and wireless capability; and offers more customer-facing features, such as payment card swipe and digital promotional display.

“With PAR’s EverServ 6000 we are able to operate and manage our multiple store operation more efficiently by serving more customers in a shorter period of time. PAR’s terminal allows for quick transitions to every menu screen that speeds up order transactions,” said Rob Spurlock, Michigan Pizza’s director of POS systems. He added that “PAR’s superior record of reliability, life-cycle support capabilities and a lower energy usage requirement makes the EverServ 6000 a smart business decision for our restaurants and our company.”
