LOUISVILLE Ky. Papa John's and Domino's both are taking advantage of leap year to offer special deals on their pizzas.
Papa John's, which has deemed Monday through Friday as "Leap Week," is promoting its Perfect Pan Pizza by offering three of the pizzas with up to three toppings each for $29.99.
Louisville-based Papa John's also is offering a free one-topping Perfect Pan pizza to anyone who was born on Feb. 29. The chain said an estimated 200,000 Americans share that birthday.
Domino's Pizza is promoting its Brooklyn-style pizza this week by throwing pizza parties for any family that names their Feb. 29, 2008-born child Brooklyn. The first family to do so also will receive $1,000 in pizza gift certificates.
Additionally, the Ann Arbor, Mich.-based chain is offering a large, one-topping Brooklyn-style pizza for $9.99.
