Pat & Oscar's promotes three

CARLSBAD Calif. The Pat & Oscar’s chain, which earlier this year was acquired in a management-led buyout, has promoted three managers to the company’s senior leadership team, officials said Friday.

Jim Konstantinides, formerly a vice president, has been named executive vice president of business development. He has more than 30 years of senior-level management experience in site selection and business development and previously acted as a real estate consultant to various restaurant chains, including Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, Fatburger and Koo Koo Roo Chicken.

Nicole Abraham has moved up from the position of marketing manager to director of marketing and brand development. She has been with Pat & Oscar’s for nearly five years and will oversee all marketing efforts and communications programs for the company’s 19 locations. She is also charged with working with the executive team to bring brand out to other markets.

Stacey Frederiksen, who joined the company in 2005, was promoted from human resources director to vice president of human resources. She will be responsible for all human resource and development functions, including recruitment, insurance negotiations, compensation, performance management, leadership training, development of managers and supervisors, employment law compliance, and employee relations.

Australia-based Pacific Equity Partners sold Pat & Oscar's in January to a group of the fast-casual chain's top executives, including chief executive John Kaufman and executive vice president Tim Foley.
