Palm offers deals to draw in business diners

WASHINGTON In an effort to stimulate business in a time of shrinking expense accounts, The Palm Restaurant Group has introduced value-oriented lunch and dinner menus at all of its locations nationwide.

The Business Lunch Menu, which is priced between $17 and $22 depending on the location, was crafted to appeal to patrons "now challenged with decreased budgets and limited expense accounts," the company said.

The lunch menu includes a choice of such starters as mixed green salad, Caesar Salad or soup of the day, with an entree selection offering twin tenderloin filets, blackened steak salad, chicken parmigiana, chef's fresh fish of the day or a Palm burger. Dessert choices are New York cheesecake or Key lime pie.

The 25-unit luxury steakhouse chain also is featuring its Biggest & Best Steak Dinner for $39 a person through May 31. Customers have a choice of starters, including a mixed green salad, a Caesar salad, a Monday night salad or lobster bisque. Entree choices include a 14-ounce filet mignon with a choice of sauce and a 9-ounce filet mignon Oscar with jumbo lump crabmeat, asparagus, fresh tarragon and hollandaise sauce; and wild Alaskan halibut. All entrees are served with any Palm signature side dish.
