N.Y. county mulls menu-labeling

WHITE PLAINS N.Y. Lawmakers in Westchester County, N.Y., are considering a menu-labeling regulation similar to the one that went into effect earlier this year in neighboring New York City.

Under the proposed mandate, local units of chain restaurants with 10 or more locations would be required to post calorie information on their menus or menu boards, according to information on the county's website.
