NRA honors state-of-the-art products with 2009 Kitchen Innovations Awards

CHICAGO —The National Restaurant Association has named the recipients of its 2009 Kitchen Innovations Award.

“Cost-saving, fast, multifunctional, flexible, efficient—these are all adjectives we look for when choosing new equipment, and they describe each of this year’s Kitchen Innovations Award recipients,” said Lorna Donatone, convention chair for the NRA show and president of school services for Sodexo Inc. —The National Restaurant Association has named the recipients of its 2009 Kitchen Innovations Award.

This year’s recipients are Advanced Composite Materials for its Silar Microwave Flatstone; Arctic Industries Inc. for its Desmon USA line; Eneron Inc. for its Turbo Pot; Everpure LLC for its MRS-Envi-RO 600; Frymaster, a division of Manitowoc Foodservice, for its Gas Protector; Garland, a division of Manitowoc, for its Garland Restaurant Range; Halton for its M.A.R.V.E.L. Demand Control System; Henny Penny Corp. for its Evolution Elite; Hobart for its Bluetooth-enabled Combi Oven with Barcode Scanner; Irinox USA for its CP Multi Function Holding Cabinet; Kairak for its BLU Technology Prep Table; Lincoln Foodservice Products, a division of Manitowoc, for its Quest EMS Energy Management System; Market Forge Industries Inc. for its 3500 Power Plus; Power Soak Systems Inc. for its High Powered Silverware Pre-Washing System; Rational USA for its Self Cooking Center with Care-Control; Somat Co. for its eCorect Waste Decomposer; Viking Range Corp.’s commercial division for its Modular Range Design; and Winston Ind. for its CVap Universal Holding Bin Cabinet. —The National Restaurant Association has named the recipients of its 2009 Kitchen Innovations Award.

All Kitchen Innovation products will be featured during the 2009 NRA Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, scheduled to be held here May 16-19. —The National Restaurant Association has named the recipients of its 2009 Kitchen Innovations Award.
