Melting Pot offers 'Girls Night Out' specials

TAMPA Fla. The Melting Pot will look to increase business from women with the launch of a “Girls Night Out” promotion during August and September.

The chain’s 130 units will put their own twist on the menu during the promotion, timed to run as vacations end and school starts, but most will offer cheese, salad, an entree and chocolate courses for about $35 a person.

Menus also will feature the Yin & Yang martini, made with Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur, Stoli Vanil vodka and ice cream topped with chocolate shavings.

Many restaurants will offer additional promotional events, such as fashion shows and spa treatments, said Kendra Sartor, vice president of brand development for the chain.
