IHOP training director Isbell named CHART president-elect

GLENDALE Calif. John Isbell, IHOP Corp.’s director of training and development since 2001, was named president-elect of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers, or CHART, at the 74th Semi-Annual Hospitality Training Conference, which ends today in Tucson, Ariz.

Isbell will serve as president-elect for one year before being appointed president of CHART, one of the industry’s largest training organizations. A member for eight years, Isbell also has served as CHART’s vice president of education, as well as its treasurer.
