IHOP menu takes on dinner, kids, health

GLENDALE Calif. IHOP restaurants rolled out a new menu on Monday featuring more dinner options, new items designed for seniors and kids and more healthful dishes lower in fat, calories and carbohydrates.

Among the 14 new items are a French onion pot roast cooked with caramelized onions in gravy, served with mashed potatoes, corn and garlic bread. A smaller portion plate is available for seniors, and the pot roast also appears in a sandwich including the beef, onions
