ROGERS Ark. Famous Dave's of America Inc. said it has sold its restaurant here to a newly formed franchise that also secured rights to open four more stores in Arkansas.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The restaurant here was acquired by Famous Bar-B-Que LLC, a holding of multi-concept operator Pat C. Boyd. His other other company, Hand Cut Steaks Inc., owns and operates a number of full-service restaurants, including Colton's Steakhouse & Grill, Saddle Creek Woodfired Grill and the West End Smokehouse & Tavern. His holdings are stretched across a five-state area that includes Arkansas.
Famous Dave's operates 40 namesake barbecue restaurants and franchises another 110 more. Based in Minneapolis, the chain extends across 35 states.
