Cracker Barrel unveils 40th anniversary menu

LEBANON Tenn. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store said Wednesday it would launch on Aug. 31 a special limited-time menu consisting of new items and old favorites in celebration of the family-dining chain’s 40th anniversary.

The promotion will be available through Oct. 25 at the 588-unit family-dining chain.

New breakfast items on the menu include the Fresh Fruit n’ Yogurt Breakfast, $6.99; and Apple Streusel French Toast, also $6.99. For the lunch and dinner dayparts. Cracker Barrel is introducing a new grilled chicken salad with bacon, honey-glazed pecans, dried cranberries, apple chunks and blue cheese crumbles, $7.99.

Older favorites returning to the menu include the chain’s traditional Country meat n’ Biscuits, $5.99; and Autumn Applefest Baked Chicken n’ Dressing, $8.69.

“The best part of celebrating an anniversary like this is the opportunity to offer our guests some of their favorite dishes from the past and to also offer up some great new choices to try,” said Cracker Barrel executive chef Bill Kintzler. “We’ve got a variety of new and different choices available with this special anniversary promotion.”
