Collins School Interim Dean Stays On During Search For Permanent Leader

POMONA, CALIF. —The interim dean of the Collins School of Hospitality Management at California State Polytechnic University here will remain in his post for another year while officials renew a three-year-old search for a permanent dean in the fall of 2008.

David Klock’s term is being extended through 2008, said Tomás Morales, the university’s provost and vice president for academic affairs. Morales appointed Klock to the position last year. Klock also is dean of the College of Business Administration. —The interim dean of the Collins School of Hospitality Management at California State Polytechnic University here will remain in his post for another year while officials renew a three-year-old search for a permanent dean in the fall of 2008.
