Chipotle to roll out kids' menu

DENVER Chipotle’s test of kids' menu items is being expanded to other markets.

The fast-casual burrito chain began testing kids’ items and several lower-priced offerings earlier this year in Colorado and Utah. The kids' menu includes a $3.95 build-your-own-taco kit, a single taco meal for $3.50, a small cheese quesadilla meal for $2.95, and a small meat and cheese quesadilla meal for $3.50.

The test has been expanded to restaurants in Boston, Arizona, Wisconsin, Dallas and Sacramento, Calif.

Accompanying the test is a marketing campaign, offering kids’ meals for free with the purchase of a full-size burrito, burrito bowl, salad or taco one day per week. The specific day of the week varies from market to market, a Chipotle spokesman said
