Chick-fil-A to sell smaller shake

ATLANTA Chick-fil-A is adding to its milk shake options with a smaller size and a new limited-time peach flavor.

The 1,440-unit chain said it would now offer its hand-spun milk shakes in 14-ounce and 20-ounce sizes for $2.49 and $2.89, respectively.

Chick-fil-A also said it would feature a peach shake, made with peaches and the chain's Icedream frozen dairy treat and topped with whipped cream and a cherry. The shake will be available June 1 through Aug. 22.

"We continue to build upon the overall success of our hand-spun milk shakes by creating limited-time flavors as a way to celebrate special times of the year," said Woody Faulk, vice president of brand development for Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A.

He added: "Some might say it's about time that the chain based in Georgia, the 'Peach State,' comes up with a great-tasting peach shake with real peaches in it."

Chick-fil-A's permanent lineup of shakes includes chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and cookies and cream flavors.
