TAMPA Fla. Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. is promoting a Toasted Frisco Melt for a limited time at participating units of its Checkers and Rally’s double drive-thru chains.
The Toasted Frisco Melt features two hand-seasoned beef patties topped with two Swiss cheese slices, a tangy Frisco sauce, pickles and grilled onions served on sourdough bread.
As part of the promotion, the company said it is bringing back its Toasted American Melt, which was introduced last year. The American Melt is made with two beef patties, two slices of American cheese, cheddar cheese sauce, grilled onions and mayonnaise.
The suggested price is two sandwiches for $4. Both Toasted Melt sandwiches are available through Aug. 10, Checkers officials said.
Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. operates or franchises 830 Checkers and Rally’s units in 29 states and the District of Columbia.
