Bruster’s ads encourage patrons to indulge

BRIDGEWATER Pa. The 260-unit Bruster’s Real Ice Cream chain has launched a new TV campaign titled “You Deserve It,” designed to give customers permission to treat themselves.

Think Communications Inc. of Pittsburgh created a series of six 15-second spots, which are airing at the start and end of commercial breaks to increase brand awareness and generate customer frequency.

Each commercial features one of Bruster’s core products, including waffle cones and bowls, milk shakes, Blasts, sundaes, and cakes for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. The campaign is supported by freestanding inserts and local-marketing initiatives.

Last year, Think Communications created a viral campaign to help Bruster’s introduce the $1 Million Cone, made of 18-karat white and yellow gold and more than 600 diamonds. The cone is for sale, and proceeds will support Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

Bruster’s units are located in 18 states.
