‘The Book of Bourbon’ back in print

One of the first modern books to give bourbon and other American whiskeys the respect we now know them to richly deserve, “The Book of Bourbon” by Gary Regan and Mardee Haidin Regan was originally released to much spirituous applause in 1995. And while much has changed in the whiskey world since those days, the history and character of the classic distilleries is still largely the same, which is why I am delighted to see this fine tome back in print.

The new, though unrevised, version comes courtesy of on-demand publishers Mixellany Limited, who are also responsible for such reprint titles as “The Café Royale Cocktail Book” and new editions like “The Mixellany Guide to Gin.” All are available through the company’s website, www.mixellany.com , with “The Book of Bourbon” retailing for $54.95 in the United States, delivery included.
