Beef 'O' Brady's appoints new CEO

TAMPA Fla. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has named Chris Elliott chief executive of the chain of family sports pubs.

Elliott replaces Chuck Winship, who is retiring after more than a decade with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, during which time he helped grow the brand from 33 restaurants to 250.

Elliott has worked with such brands as Cinnabon, Church’s Chicken and El Pollo Loco.

“Having been in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years, with five different brands at the corporate level, as well as having the experience as a franchisee, I understand how both sides need to work together to be successful,” Elliott said.

Company president Nick Vojnovic said Winship “built a solid foundation for continued growth of Beef ‘O’ Brady’s by refining the franchise model, extending the menu and proving that the concept could work anywhere.”

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s said it is looking to expand into new venues, including hotels, golf courses and college campuses. Most of its restaurants are in the Southeast and Midwest.
